What removing liquidity does
When you add liquidity to a Raydium pool you receive LP tokens that represent your share. Removing liquidity means giving those LP tokens back (they are burned) in exchange for your share of the pool's contents, paid to your wallet as your token and SOL.
You get your current share, not a refund of what you deposited. If traders have bought your token since, the pool holds more SOL and fewer tokens than it started with, and you receive that new mix.
What you need
- The wallet that holds the LP tokens. This is normally the wallet you launched from.
- Your token's mint address. You can copy it from your launch confirmation, from Solscan, or from your Portfolio page.
- A little SOL for the network fee on your own transaction.
Step by step
- Open Remove Liquidity and connect your wallet.
- Paste your token mint address. The pool is found automatically, and you will see your LP balance.
- Choose how much to remove with the percentage slider, from 1% to 100%.
- Approve the single wallet prompt. There is no separate fee signature, because removing liquidity is free.
- Wait for the confirmation. You will get a Solscan link for the transaction, and the tokens and SOL arrive in your wallet.
If something goes wrong
- "No Raydium CPMM pool found for that token mint." Check that you pasted the mint address, not a pool ID or wallet address. If the pool is brand new, wait a minute and try again.
- "You don't hold any LP tokens for this pool in this wallet." Make sure the connected wallet is the one that created the pool. If the LP tokens were burned or moved to another wallet, they are not here.
- Wallet will not sign. Confirm the wallet has a little SOL for the network fee and try again.
- The transaction says it timed out. Nothing is lost. Check the signature on Solscan before retrying, in case it did land.
Before you remove liquidity
Taking SOL out of a pool leaves less for other holders to sell into, and they may not be able to sell at a fair price. Pulling liquidity from a token other people hold is widely seen as a rug pull and may carry legal consequences depending on where you live. Only remove liquidity you are entitled to, and consider telling your community first.
